full day visit: £525 + VAT
A seven hour visit to your property, suitable for larger sites, with
a number of different elements for consideration. Your ideas will be
discussed in detail and your property and requirements evaluated. Advice
will be given on necessary site surveys and investigations, planning
and regulations. At the end of the day you will be left with a sketch
design forming the beginnings of a site masterplan and an action list
on how to proceed. If you have a copy of your house deeds showing your
property boundary, or an aerial photo, this is very helpful.
half day visit: £300 + VAT
A four hour visit suitable for a small garden or one specific element
of your property, eg a courtyard, a water feature, a tennis court or
a terrace. Your requirements will be discussed and sketch options produced.
homebuyer’s visit: £300 + VAT
A half day visit where the various opportunities and constraints of a
potential property are discussed. This will include planning issues
and existing site structure and will help you evaluate the feasibility
of a site before purchase.
follow-up meetings/advice: £75 + VAT per hour
This could involve a site visit or advice given by email or telephone
and is charged at an hourly rate limited to the time taken to respond
to your questions.
full services: % of overall budget
Following an initial consultation you may wish to hand the project to
freemont landscape architects to create the framework and to then take
the design through all the necessary statutory consents (planning/building
regulations, listed building consent) for which we would prepare detailed
plans. On approval, the firm will schedule the works, obtaining prices
from a minimum of three approved contractors, following which the work
can be project managed through to completion, including an optional
one year maintenance contract. For this freemont landscape architects
will charge a percentage of the overall budget based on the Landscape
Institute’s Recommended Fee Scale (graph available on request).
